Let it snow!

Michael looked out the window to see snow falling all around!

"Jerome, dig out the sleigh!"
"make sure you wrap up little ones, it's cold out there"

Everyone headed to the meadow where the lake had completely frozen over.

"I love your new coat, Renee"
"Thanks, it's new!"

Renee started a skating conga line across the lake.

"da da da da da wooo"
"we're like a wooly ana-conga snake!"

But not everyone had skates and there toes were getting cold. Being the helpful little tyke that he is, Michael decided to ship the little ones across the frozen lake on his sled. A wonderful time was being had by all!

"Michael, you don't have shoes on, your feet must be frozen!"

It's beginning to look a lot like christmas!

While everyone was out of the house, little Jerome and Mrs Beaver decided to decorate the home for christmas!

"Oh little one, you're in quite the tangle!"

Jerome placed the last bauble on the tree. Together they did a grand job.

"Momma can we eat the candy canes?"

Once everyone was home and snuggled in the lounge playing games and watching the christmas TV, Mr Beaver thought it such a wonderful scene he just had to take a picture!

"No Michael, you can't climb up a snake!"

Mrs Beaver asked the boys to help her in kitchen with all the christmas baking. She was making mince pies, christmas cake, a chocolate log and candy canes. Michael had an idea for one more thing to bake.

"Momma, I really really really want to make this!"

Well Mrs Beaver has outdone herself. With a little help from the boys, the gingerbread house looks fantastic. Well done everyone!

"Wow, lets make a whole village!"

Hard Earned Money

Renee and Michael collected all the money they made from Mrs Beavers Pumpkin Pickle and decided to treat themselves to a shopping trip!

"We mustn't forget to buy something for Momma"

Renee spotted the most beautiful soft pink coat in the window of the Boutique.

"I simply must try it on, Michael!"

It fitted her perfectly, and was just in her budget.

"This Louis Sylvanintton bag would go perfectly with it!"

Michael got a little carried away choosing a present for his Momma...

"Its Princess Michael the first!"

Pumpkin Pickle - Part Two

The little ones rode into town on Renee's bicycle loaded with all of Mrs Beavers delicious Pumpkin Pickle. They were drawing quite a lot of attention!

"COME AND GET YOUR PUMPKIN PICKE, 50P A JAR"

The shopkeeper over the road saw all the fuss outside the shop; she had a great idea.

"Hmmm, I think that would look splendid on my shelves"

She bought all of their jars of pickle and promised to give them 10% of the profits! The jars were selling like hot cakes!

"Look! Its nearly all gone!"

Pumpkin Pickle - Part One

It was the end of the pumpkin harvest, and Mrs Walnut had brought over some of the pumpkins from Mr Walnuts garden.

"Oh my, there's so many, whatever shall I make!"

After rummaging through all of her favourite cookbooks, Mrs Beaver found a recipe for some scrumptious pumpkin pickle and was soon cooking up a storm in the kitchen!

"I'm going to need an extra kitchen at this rate!"

It made so many jars of pickle, Renee had to help her momma label all of them. Mrs Beaver was a little concerned what to do with them all, they'd be having pumpkin pickle for breakfast, lunch and tea!

"Don't worry Momma, I've a great idea!"

To be continued...

A Halloween Jamboree

The Halloween Jamboree was really fantastic. Giant pumpkins, spooky lights, everyones costumes were just marvellous, and the halloween band The Rolling Bones were absolutely fantastic!

"Oh I know this one 'we did the mash, we did the monster mash'"

Sandy Neptune was a little star struck with the ghostly singer Mummy Jagger!

"Thats a great costume little one!"

After a wonderful time dancing and singing away, it was time to go home.

"Come on my little monsters, lets get you tucked up in bed"

Little Renee Riding Hood

As a thank you for all their handwork this summer season at the seaside restaurant, Mrs Beaver asked Renee to send some freshly baked goods to the Neptune family. It was starting to get a little colder now, so Renee found her favourite red riding coat and bundled up.

"If you get hungry on the way, I'm sure they won't mind you eating one or two"

The pathway to the Neptune's home was quite dark. Renee felt a little scarred, and she was sure there was something lurking in the woods behind her.

"If I stick to the path, I'll be fine…"

But Renee took a wrong turn and ended up lost in the woods. She then heard a rustle from the bushes behind her. She turned quickly to see…

"OH MY GOSH!!!"

A Wolf!

"AAAAAHHHHHHH…"

But she was wrong, it wasn't a wolf at all. It was little Michael dressed up as a cat on his way to the Sylvanian Halloween Jamboree!

"I scarred you good and proper sis!"

Pumpkin Patch

Mrs Beavers autumn flowers are in full bloom this year. All the hard work had paid off planting the bulbs back in june.

"Momma you have such green-fingers!"

Over the fence at Walnut Grove, Mr Walnut's pumpkin patch was coming along nicely too.

"I'm going to need some help with this harvest!"

Everyone came to help, even the little ones!

"Poppa, this one would make a fantastic jack 'o Lantern!"

Mrs Walnut had a great idea, she busied herself in the kitchen rustling up her famous pumpkin spiced pecan cake. She popped one over the fence with some freshly squeezed lemonade for the gardening girls!

"Here you are ladies, you look like you need a break!"

The cake went down a treat!

"Michael that's your third slice!!"

Collecting sea shells

The boys found some beautiful shells on the beach. Mrs Beaver suggested they collected as many as possible, she had a great idea!

"You can hear the sea!"
"well we are stood in front of it!"

Mrs beaver dug out all of her craft items, she was going to show the boys how to make a beautiful seashell wreath for the restaurant

"Momma, its stuck to my hand!"

The finished product looked so good, Mrs Beaver proudly nailed it to the front door of the restaurant.

"Well done boys, it's beautiful!"

A New Menu

A fresh delivery of locally sourced fish arrived this morning at the seafood restaurant

"Mr Neptune, get your thinking hat on, we've a menu to write!"

Mrs Beaver and Mrs Neptune were busy sprucing up the restaurant while the boys and little Sandy Neptune helped with the fishy delivery.

"One day, poppa, I'd like to be a fisherman and deliver fish to you!"
"You can be whatever you want to be Sandy!"

The smells coming from the kitchen where magnificent, the boys were cooking up a storm. So many new dishes to add to the menu!

"Mr Beaver, thats the best fish curry I've ever tried, and believe me, I've had a few!"

The new menu choices were drawing quite a crowd!

"Look daddy, Jumbo fish fingers!"

The new menu went down a real treat. This season was going to be a busy one!

"Compliments to the chef, this fish platter is outstanding!"

Renee's Day At The Beach

Renee and her friends were making the most of the summer holidays and lovely weather by heading down to the beach. Renee had a great idea; they were going to make sands cultures!

"Im going to make the biggest whale!"

The girls were having such fun creating all sorts of things out of sand!

"Well I might just make the tail, for now."

After a lovely afternoon, it was time for tea and cake. Renee had another fantastic idea.

"There you go ladies, a sand-table and sand-chairs!"

Paddling Pool

The summer holidays were in full swing, and the weather was being very kind over Sylvania. Mrs Beaver decided to fill up the paddling pool so the little ones could cool down.

"I'm going to canon ball right in!"

The boys were having a whale of a time splish splashing about. Then Michael had an idea…

"Jerome, get me my cape!"

With Mrs Beaver's flower pot and a piece of wood from the tool shed, Michael made a little ramp leading up to the paddling pool. He asked Jerome to lay in-between, he was going to perform a very very dangerous stunt on his tricycle!

"OH NO!!!!"

But it went very very wrong. Just missing little Jerome, he fell off his bike, smashing Mrs Beavers plant pot, and grazing both his knees.

"Now, now little one. I think it's bedtime for our little daredevils"

When the little ones were all tucked up in bed, it was time for Mr and Mrs Beaver to enjoy the paddling pool.

"Canapé Mrs Beaver?"
"I don't mind if I do!"

The Book Signing

Everyone in Sylvania was very excited, Mr Beaver's book was being launched at the Applewood Department store and he was going to be doing a book signing!

"Mr Beaver?! Here?! How exciting!"

Mr Beaver was very nervous, he didn't know if anyone would turn up. But he had nothing to worry about, when they opened the doors at the start of the day, there was a queue around the block!

"I… I… I, I'm sorry, I'm nervous. I've never met a celebrity before!"

To celebrate the success of the book, Mr Beaver treated the whole family to tea, cake and ice-cream at pippins cafe.

"Michael and Jerome, just be careful, that's your third bowl of ice cream!"

Michael spotted his absolute favourite, lemon drizzle cake.

"Michael!!!"
