The House Next Door - Part Three

Mrs Walnut's flower boxes were looking beautiful. Just in time for the beginning of spring!

"The geraniums smell wonderful!"

Meanwhile, Mr Walnut was getting a tutorial on how to put up a fence from Mrs Beaver. She really is a dab hand at DIY!

"I'm going to learn a lot living next to you, Mrs Beaver"

Mr Beaver put his painting skills into practice, painting the fence was the last job to do.

"You missed a bit, Mr Beaver!"

Finally the scaffolding came down, the window boxes put up and the lawn all cleared and swept. Walnut Grove was ready!

"Thank you so much! We're going to love it here!… Now for the interior!"

Easter Holiday

It's time for a well deserved break! The little ones brought a hot-cross bun picnic to the construction sight on Good Friday, it was time that everyone relaxed for the Easter weekend!

"Oh little ones, thank you"

Michael was having the best time at the Easter Fair in the village square.

"I want that one,… and that one… and that one too!… please"

The Beaver family were looking their absolute best in their Easter Bonnets. Mr Beaver was looking especially dapper.

"Oh Mr Beaver, we look like Fred and Ginger!"

Michael couldn't help but drool a little when he saw the Easter cake stand!

"I think maybe you've had enough sugar for one day!"
"But it's Easter!"

Happy Easter, from the Beaver Family!

The House Next Door - Part Two

The scaffoldings up, and work is well under way on the Walnuts new residence. Everyone was pitching in.

"Have you seen the ratchet Mr Walnut?"

All was going very well. Mrs Walnut had some great ideas to add to the plans!

"I think some beautiful window-boxes right here"

With all the hard work, they decided to take a well earned break.

"Could you be so kind as to add some more pizza to our bucket!"

To be continued...

The House Next Door - Part One

Mr Beaver and Mr Walnut were discussing the state of the house next door. It was an absolute eyesore. Mr Beaver explained it had been up for sale for quite some time; this got Mr Walnut thinking.

"It's been on the market for weeks. You'd have to be insane to buy it!"

But Mr Walnut, who was always up for a challenge decided to surprise Mrs Walnut. He had a vision for the cosiest, cutest little cottage Sylvania ever saw.

"Oh Cedric, what have you done!"

Mr Walnut took advantage of Mr Beavers artistic flare and asked him to paint his vision for the house. Well Mrs Walnut fell in love with the painting and insisted they get to work ASAP!

"Right boys, get your tools out, we're renovating!"
