A Letter To Santa

The little ones were getting very excited for christmas, especially when they saw the Toy Shop window display. They simply had to explore inside!

"Oh my, look at that train!"

The Toy Maker was happy to show the little ones around. Michael asked if he could see the train a little closer.

Mince Pies and Christmas Movies

Mrs Beaver was in the kitchen preparing some delicious mince pies. She was pretty confident that the pastry was going to be extra specially delicious this year!

"It's beginning to look a lot like christmas…"

Once the mince pies were out of the oven, Mrs Beaver didn't even need to call the family. They all smelt the delicious pastry parcels and came running down the stairs!

"Don't let Poppa eat them all, save one for me!"

Mr Beaver made a batch of delicious caramel hot chocolates for everyone to enjoy with the mince pies, and Renee chose her favourite christmas move for them to watch "Home Alone 2, lost in Sylvania"

"Now this is what christmas is all about!"

Putting up the decorations

Mr Beaver thought he'd surprise everyone whilst they were out christmas shopping and decorate the tree. But things weren't going quite to plan.

"Oh dear, I seem to of got into a bit of a tangle"

When Mrs Beaver returned home, she thought it quite amusing to find Mr Beaver in such a pickle. She soon put things right.

"Oh Mr Beaver, what are you like! Sit down and have a mince pie"

When it came to decorating the out side of the house, Mrs Beaver suggested they all do it together. The more helping hands the better when it comes to christmas decorating!

"Next year, I think I'll wait for you Mrs Beaver!"

Christmas Shopping in the Villiage

It was that time of year again, the christmas shopping wasn't going to buy itself. So Mrs Beaver took out the boys to the village shops and promised them a treat if they were good.

"Oh now would you look at that dress in the window,
I think it's my size too!"

Well Mrs Beaver did a lot of shopping that afternoon, so much shopping that the boys had to walk so she could load the pushchair with all the shopping bags. But they didn't mind, it was time for Peter Polaris' Special Hot Chocolates!

"I'd like the chocolate, caramel, hot fudge brownie one, with marshmallows,
cream, chocolate sprinkles and a flake… and a gingerbread man to dip in please!"

So the boys wouldn't mind walking the whole way home, Mrs Beaver treat them to a candy cane too!

"I love christmas shopping, shall we come again tomorrow momma?!"

"There they go, getting it all wrong again, Mrs Beaver!"

But in the morning, the whole of the Sylvanian village was covered in a sheet of white snow.

"Well I'll be george, will you look at that. They were right!"

Renee wasted no time in dusting off her sledge and heading for the biggest hill with her best friend Shelly Neptune!

"You two are so brave!"

Meanwhile, Mr Beaver appears to of lost his glasses…

"Excuse me sir, have you seen my spectacles? I appear to of misplaced them."

End of the Season

The season was coming to an end at the Beaver's and Neptune's Seafood Restaurant.

"Welcome to our closing of the season party!"

The Sandy family were extremely sad that their favourite restaurant had to close. They ordered two main courses each!

"I'll have the catch of the day and… the catch of the day!"

The last paella was made and served by Mrs Beaver herself. The chocolate Rabbit family gave her a little toast.

"Now that has to be the best paella I've ever tasted!"

And so they said goodbye to the last customers of the year. So far the restaurant has been a roaring success. It was time to open the champers!

"I'll pop open the special bottle we've been saving. What are you three going to have?!"
"Oh Mrs Beaver, you're terrible!"

"We're going to get so much candy, I can taste it already!"

But the boys were so frantic to eat their special Halloween treats, that they spilt them all over the floor!

"3 second rule! Quick!"

After Trick or Treating, everybody gathered in the village hall for a special Halloween party. It was frightfully good!

"Aaaaaah!!! A GHOST!!!… No wait, it's just Michael"

Even the little toy houses were haunted, it was spook-tacular!

"I wonder what the potions taste like?"

Michael took one of the potions from the display, removed the cork and took an enormous gulp! The next moment he was hiccuping bubbles, big green bubbles in fact!

"It tastes like sprouts.. hiccup… and limes…hiccup…"

Silly michael...

Pumpkin carvin

Mr Beaver, Michael and Renee set out to carve the biggest pumpkin in the village. Renee designed the face, Michael marked it all out then Mr Beaver began to carve it out.

"By George, will you look at that!"

It drew quite the crowd at the Sylvanian Harvest Festival. Nobody had seen a pumpkin quite that big before.

"It's as big as a boat!"

Autumn inspiration

Mr Beaver managed to get a little bit of time to himself and dust off his paints. He was feeling all inspired by the beautiful autumn colours.

"That's it, I think I'm finished"

Meanwhile the little ones were enjoying riding their bikes in the crunchy fallen leaves!

"Look, no hands!"

After their bike ride, they took a stroll into town. The Toy Shop had the most spooktacular halloween window display. It was getting closer to halloween everyday!

"I think I see a miniature ghost in the miniature house :O"

Autumn is here!

The Beavers arrived home from their holiday to a much chillier Sylvania. All the trees had turned to beautiful shades of orange and gold, and the leaves had started to fall to the ground.

"Everyone inside and get your woolies on!"

All the family helped with clearing the garden of leaves. There was much to be done!

"Where on earth is Jerome?!"

As soon as the garden was (almost) cleared, Mrs Beaver managed to get the holiday washing done and out on the line.

"There he is!"

Michael and Renee seized the opportunity for wheelbarrow rides around the garden.

"Faster, faster, FASTER!"

They were having the best time. Autumn is so much fun!

"Round again!"

"This is my castle,  I have to defend it"

The kids were having the best time!

"Now see how long you can stay buried for, Michael…"

It was time to go, but Michael wanted to stay.

"But Momma, Mr ducky wants to stay too!"

Back at the caravan, Mrs Beaver made one last special dinner. It smelt absolutly delicious. What a wonderful way to finish a wonderful holiday.

"It's ready now. sweetheart"
